From enquiry to findings
The document review process
See how a visa proof-of-funds document review moves from a careful enquiry to written findings and a correction check.
Start with context, not attachments
Use the enquiry form to name the destination, visa category, intended submission date, number of applicants and approximate document count. Describe unusual elements such as sponsorship, a recent sale or funds moved between accounts. Do not send statements with the first enquiry.
Agree the boundary
We reply within one working day with the suitable review, fee, expected return date and a list of records needed. If the question requires legal interpretation, forensic verification, tax advice or document certification, we decline that part before accepting payment.
Prepare controlled review copies
You receive a secure-transfer instruction after confirming the engagement. Keep account-holder names, dates, balances, currencies and relevant transaction descriptions visible. Remove passwords, PINs and payment-card numbers. Original documents are never required.
The review desk
A reviewer reads the set in the order an unfamiliar caseworker might encounter it. We cross-check identifiers and periods, trace material transactions, test explanations against underlying records, and note where labels or page order interrupt the story. Findings distinguish significant documentary gaps from useful presentational improvements.
Return and correction window
The written report arrives within the agreed timeframe. Comprehensive reviews include a short call and one check of corrected documents within seven days. We delete working copies according to the retention schedule in our privacy notice.
